Terms and Conditions (T&C) – ForceRide

 

1. Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all services, coaching sessions, courses, workshops, camps, and events provided by ForceRide, regardless of whether they take place online or in person.

By booking any service via the website, email, or any other booking method, the participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Services

ForceRide offers, among others, the following services:

  • 1:1 Coaching

  • Online Coaching and Video Analysis

  • Kitesurf Coaching

  • Snowkite Coaching

  • Landkite Coaching

  • Snowboard Coaching

  • Skateboard Coaching

  • Workshops

  • Camps

  • Courses for Children and Youth

  • Other sports-related services

The exact scope of services is defined in the respective offer description on the website.

3. Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made through the website, by email, or through other booking systems provided by ForceRide.

All prices are stated in the published currency and include the services listed in the respective offer description.

A booking becomes binding only after confirmation by ForceRide.

ForceRide reserves the right to refuse bookings without providing a reason.

 

4. Cancellation by the Participant

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

The following cancellation policy applies:

  • Up to 14 days before the course start date: free of charge

  • 13 to 7 days before the course start date: 50% of the course fee

  • Less than 7 days before the course start date: 100% of the course fee

If a replacement participant is provided, the cancellation fee will be waived.

No refunds will be issued for coaching sessions, courses, or camps that have already started.

 

5. Weather and Safety-Related Changes

Many ForceRide services depend on weather, wind, snow, water, and local spot conditions.

ForceRide reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule appointments

  • Change locations

  • Adjust course times

  • Cancel events

if necessary for safety reasons or due to unsuitable conditions.

Whenever possible, an alternative date will be offered.

No further claims may be made.

 

6. Health and Personal Responsibility

By booking, each participant confirms that they are physically and medically fit to participate in the booked activity.

Any existing medical conditions, injuries, or health restrictions must be disclosed to ForceRide before the coaching session begins.

Participants must follow the coach’s instructions at all times.

 

7. Liability Disclaimer

Participation in all activities is entirely at the participant’s own risk and responsibility.

Kitesurfing, snowkiting, landkiting, snowboarding, skateboarding, and all related activities involve an increased risk of accidents and injuries.

To the extent permitted by law, ForceRide accepts no liability for:

  • Accidents

  • Injuries

  • Property damage

  • Consequential damages

  • Financial losses

  • Loss or theft of personal belongings

Liability for slight negligence is excluded.

Liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence remains unaffected.

 

8. Minors

Participants under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By making a booking, parents or legal guardians confirm:

  • The child's physical suitability for participation

  • That they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions

  • Their consent to the child's participation

Supervision is provided only during the official course or event hours.

. Equipment

Unless otherwise stated, participants are responsible for providing their own suitable sports clothing and personal protective equipment.

For children's courses, helmets and additional protective equipment may be mandatory.

ForceRide reserves the right to exclude participants from activities if adequate safety equipment is not provided.

In such cases, no refund will be granted.

10. Photo and Video Recordings

Photos and videos may be taken during coaching sessions, workshops, and camps.

These recordings may be used by ForceRide for:

  • Website content

  • Social media

  • Marketing and promotional materials

  • Documentation purposes

Participants may object to the use of their photos or videos at any time by providing written notice.

For minors, such objections must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.

 

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the current Privacy Policy published on the website.

 

12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

The laws of the country in which ForceRide is headquartered shall apply.

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
